That's what dawned on me while having a conversation with a colleague about all the hype and trading programs being marketed on the internet.

But how does a big money manager think?  Good question!  They understand two things:  1) Capital preservation is KEY, and 2) It's all about consistent, LONG TERM results.

One thing I know after being involved in the off-exchange foreign currency market, or forex, for nearly a decade is that there is no 'holy grail'.  There is no get-rich-quick system that makes 40-100% returns month in, month out. 

Honestly, if you COULD make 100% a month, a $5000 investment would become nearly $2.4 MILLION in just 10 months.  There is NO WAY a person would be sharing that kind of a secret.  Oh, and let's not forget that risk and reward go hand-in-hand.  If you can MAKE 100% in a month, you can LOSE 100% and what does that leave you with?  NOTHING.

It's time to get real and look for something that a big money manager would use; something that is designed to PRESERVE CAPITAL while earning CONSISTENT, LONG TERM results.
